1. Be there when they want you. You might think this is a no-brainer but you would be surprised at the number of businesses who set their working hours to traditional times such as 9 to 5. This may well make life easier for you but does not reflect the modern demand for service 24/7.

Make sure you factor any charges into your prices and these transactions needn’t cost you anything while making life easier for your clients.

3. Remove risk. You want customers to trust that you will deliver your service when you say you will but how can you convince them? Take away the risk. 4. Make contacting you as easy as possible. Some of the contact forms I see on websites ask for way too much detail. The point of them is to encourage potential customers to contact you so all you really need to be asking for is a contact name, email address and perhaps a short message. Nothing else. Why on earth would they want to give you their phone number or home address at this stage?

So make it easy for your clients and customers – they’ll thank you for it!
